London Artists Books group formed in January 2025 and meets monthly to share work, ideas and techniques and revel in the ever expanding field of ‘Artist Books’.
The membership of LAB has been deliberately restricted to under ten members. This allows time to be devoted to presentation and discussion.
Working to a theme, we create bookwork each month. Also a member will often lead a workshop looking at different book structures.
Members have come to book arts from diverse visual art backgrounds including photography, printmaking, textiles and ceramics, contributing to the variety of work produced.
